For the past 40 years, we have been proudly serving Prince Rupert, B.C. and beyond. Our founders, Dan Harris and Brian Wick are certified goldsmiths with a combined experience of over 80 years. They met through mutual friends and shared a dream of opening a retail store that offers high-quality jewelry with unique designs.

At our cozy little shop in Cow Bay, we specialize in custom design work, meltdown & redesign, and repairs. Our skilled team handles these services on-site, ensuring top-notch craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Thanks to our international reputation, we have gained clients from the United States, Germany, England, and New Zealand. Dan Harris

Meet Dan Harris, an owner and certified goldsmith at Harris & Wick Goldsmiths Ltd. With over 40 years of experience, Dan is a certified goldsmith and a graduate gemologist with a passion for design. Originally hailing from Ontario, he embarked on a journey in the late 70s to pursue a career that would allow him to unleash his creativity.

Dan's expertise lies in design and building strong relationships with our valued customers. He is constantly brainstorming and crafting new, one-of-a-kind ideas for our made-to-order pieces and showcases. You'll often find him immersed in bringing unique designs to life.

Accompanied by his loyal Irish setter, Dan brings a touch of warmth and dedication to his craft. His commitment to excellence and personalized service sets him apart in the industry. Whether you're looking for a custom creation or exploring our curated collections, Dan's expertise and artistic vision will ensure a special experience.

Brian Wick

Introducing Brian Wick, an owner and skilled goldsmith at Harris & Wick Goldsmiths Ltd. Born and raised in Prince Rupert, Brian's upbringing revolved around working in the family business, building boats, and working as a commercial fisherman. In 1980, he obtained his certification as a goldsmith, and a few years later, he pursued a stone-setting certificate, further expanding his expertise.

Brian loves a challenge and revels in the opportunity to work on something new every day. Whether he's repairing jewellery or meticulously setting stones at his workbench, he approaches each task with passion and care. His craftsmanship extends to crafting handmade masterpieces, including Mokume-gane designs.

Shauna Chandler

Meet Shauna, a dynamic professional specializing in sales, marketing, and design. Shauna embarked on her journey in 2006 as a Sales Associate and has since gained comprehensive training in various facets of the shop, including management and design. With her well-rounded expertise, Shauna is adept at understanding and meeting the unique needs of her clients, crafting exquisite one-of-a-kind pieces that leave a lasting impression.

In addition to her passion for designing extraordinary jewellery, Shauna also plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Harris & Wick Goldsmiths brand. As a key member of the team, she takes charge of advertising initiatives, maintaining the website, and managing the brand's vibrant presence on social media platforms. With her keen eye for aesthetics and a deep understanding of market trends, Shauna ensures that the brand's message resonates with its target audience, captivating them with exceptional designs and impeccable craftsmanship.

Kate's journey with the company began as a Sales Associate, showcasing her exceptional sales and customer service skills. Over time, Kate's abilities and passion for her work propelled her into the role of Office Manager, where she excels at handling various administrative responsibilities and ensuring smooth operations.

Beyond her administrative duties, Kate shines in her creative endeavors. She has a natural flair for design, and her time at the shop is spent crafting designing custom pieces that reflect her artistic vision.
